Peyakoskan Energy is a community energy and utilities marketer.
We provide electricity, natural gas and Internet services at very competitive rates for those with
or without solar on their roofs.
We are not your typical large, faceless, corporate utilities provider.
We are a small and efficient business with a focus on providing a unique
alternative to the "big four." To us, you're more than just an account number.
We are proudly majority Indigenous owned, with a focus on making your utilities
service a more personal and human experience.
The name "Peyakoskan" holds deep meaning, representing unity as a Cree word for
"one nation, one village, one tribe".
Founded by Randall Benson and Corey James, we chose this name because it was what we wanted the company to represent.
A community working as one for the benefit of all.
Both Randall and Corey have an immense amount of experience in the solar industry.
Randall boasts over 25 years of intimate experience in the industry and Corey has over 5 years.
The idea for creating a utility services provider came about after working with other providers
on behalf of countless solar clients. We realized that we can offer the same services and rates,
and keeping our community under one roof. This allows us to keep things simple and organized for you.
No more chasing down multiple contacts for everything.
We are proud to share a portion of our profits with local Alberta charities through our Community Partner program.
